Our Nursery

We try to make your trip to Alpine Nursery
a happy one. 		Even beautiful dragonflies like to hang around.
The little red potting shed contains garden seeds, seed potatoes and onion sets, pots and other garden necessities. One of our display gardens.
You'll find fairies everywhere.
The porch on Greenhouse #1 was inspired by the porch we swaw at Carl Larsson's home in Sweden. It was this home that we came up with the idea to put benches in each of the greenhouses, the railing detail and the fancy trim along the rooflines. I've always admired Carl Larsson's paintings, and couldn't wait to see his home! Greenhouse #1 is where we have our checkout and where we sell speciality annuals that like to be in the sun.
The porch on Greenhouse #2 was inspired by a beautiful old home in Norway. I loved the curved cloumns that frame the door and the pretend windows. Greenhouse #2 is where we have our vegetables and herbs.
The Porch on Greenhouse #3 was again inspired by Carl Larsson's home-a more formal entry. Greenhouse #3 is where we have our sunny pacs of flowers and trailing petunias. This is our biggest porch, so we have decorative pots and other merchandise for sale here.

on top! Greenhouse #5 is where we
have our shady annuals.
The porch of Greenhouse #6 was inspired by a home in Finland. I am simply amazed by the attention to detail that Scandinavian builders used! Greenhouse #6 is where we have cactus and succulents and other sun loving speciality annuals.
